How artificial intelligence is used throughout the platform — 6 questions.

Yes, extensively. Iteratist uses Claude (Anthropic's AI) in multiple places throughout the platform:

  • Variant creation — AI suggests specific page changes based on your experiment hypothesis
  • Traffic source advice — AI analyses per-source performance data and recommends what to change, combine, or test next
  • Keyword restructuring — AI reads keyword cluster data and generates a concrete Google Ads restructuring plan
  • Variant generation — AI can create a complete new variant from a recommendation with one click

Iteratist uses Claude by Anthropic — one of the most capable and accurate AI models available. Claude is particularly strong at nuanced analysis, structured recommendations, and understanding marketing context, which makes it well-suited for CRO advice and Google Ads strategy.

Every row in the Traffic Source Report has an AI button. When you click it, Iteratist sends the performance data for that specific source (visitor counts, conversion rates per variant, the experiment hypothesis, and the variant changes) to Claude, which returns a structured analysis covering:

  • What the data tells us about this traffic source
  • Specific recommendations — each labelled as an action or an observation
  • Follow-up test ideas based on the current results

Results are cached in your browser so you don't have to regenerate them on every page load.

AI advice quality is proportional to the quality and quantity of data behind it. With strong, statistically significant data and a well-written hypothesis, the AI produces very specific and actionable recommendations. With sparse early-stage data, the recommendations will be more general.

Treat AI advice as the analysis of a knowledgeable colleague reviewing your data — useful and directional, but always to be read critically and tested. The AI will sometimes suggest a different angle that is genuinely better; it will occasionally suggest something that doesn't resonate with your specific audience. Your job is to decide which ideas are worth testing.

No. Your experiment data, variant content, and performance metrics are sent to Anthropic's API solely for the purpose of generating your AI advice. Anthropic's business API does not use customer data submitted via API calls to train their models. Your data is not shared with other users of the platform and is not used to improve the underlying AI model.

The AI can generate a complete new variant from a recommendation — including the specific page changes (selectors, change types, and values) — with one click from the AI advice panel. You review the proposed changes before confirming, and the variant is created automatically if you approve it. The AI never makes changes to your live page without your explicit approval.
